1.0 SYSTEM SUMMARY

1.1 Purpose of System

Petbuds, established in 2018 by a group of pet lovers that aim to assist others who work in the industry grow their pet care business and help pet owners find the right care for their pet.


As our lives get busier, we all need a helping hand, especially when it comes to our furry friends. This is where we step in, with friendly staff, mobile app and website, we will assist in any way we can to help find the care you need or help your business soar to new heights.


At Petbuds, we understand that the needs of pet carers and pet owners change, with our UK based call centre our friendly staff will accommodate your needs to the best of our ability and assist in any way possible as we pride ourselves on great customer service.


The safety of your pet is our main concern and accidents do happen therefore we offer pet insurance for all our pet carers for the bookings made through our service this is just one of many benefits that we at Petbuds offer.


1.2 User Access Levels

There are three different types of users in this system.

*    Pet Owner


Pet Owner is the one who creates an Ad against following services

Ø Dog Walker

Ø Pet Transport

Ø Doggy Daycare

Ø Cat sitter

Ø Small Animal carer

Ø Grooming Service

Ø Cat sitter

Ø Once the Pet carers quote on any of those Ads, Pet owner will book carer of his choice and that carer will provide job accordingly.


*     Pet Carer


Pet Carer is the one who

Ø Can see the Ads/Jobs created by Pet Owners.

Ø Can quote price on any of nearby jobs

Ø Doggy Daycare

Ø Once owner accepts offer of carer, they will start working according to the schedule provided.

2.0 GETTING STARTED

2.1 HOME PAGE

• User first starts by typing www.petbuds.com on browser URL. This will open front page of website. On home page of PETBUDS, Web users

• Can see mission statement

• Can see profiles of best Carers

• Can Find a Carer by clicking button

• Can see other carer's recent quotes

• Can see what other people are saying about Petbuds

• Can see list of recent Ads



2.2 SIGN UP

Users can Sign Up for a new account using web and mobile application of Petbuds by clicking on Sign Up. It shows two further options

*    SIGN UP AS PET OWNER

When user selects the option to sign up as Pet Owner, a form of different fields will appear.

Ø  User can Sign up by filling up required fields. After submitting the form, a success message will appear.

Ø  Pet Owner can activate account from verification link received in email.




In mobile application, Sign up screen opens the same forms too!



2.3 LOGIN

After clicking on verification link, the account of Pet owner will be successfully created. User can login using credentials.
-Clicks >> Verify Account >> Enter credentials >Login button User can also login using social media such as Facebook and Twitter accounts.


*    Forgot Password


In case, user forgets the password there is a link of Forgot Password. User can click on that link as request to reset the password.

Ø  After entering Email address > Submit

Ø  A message will appear which will tell user that password reset link has been sent to that email. By clicking that link, new password fields will open, from where user can enter the new password of account.





2.4 MAIN MODULES

After login, Pet Owner can access main menu of whole system. Such as

*    CREATE AN AD


Pet owner can create a new Ad by clicking on Create an Ad button placed in menu.
A form for creating new Ad will open. Owner can create a new ad by providing


Ø  Ad Title

Ø  Owner's detail

o   Name

o   Sur name

o   Post Code

Ø  Pet Details i.e. Select Pet/ Add New Pet

Ø  Select Pet Services

Ø  Write your requirement

Ø  Pet's needs

Ø  Select dates

o   Recurring Weekly Schedule

o   One Off


·      Add Pet

While creating ad, there's a button of Add Pet. When owner clicks on that button, a pop up with a form will appear which will let user to add a new pet.

After clicking on Submit button, the pet will be saved in drop down under Pet Details where owner can select any pet from the list of pets.

Ø  All of these pets will also appear in “My Pets” sub-module under Profile.




After filling up all the necessary fields, owner will click on Post an Ad button. A success message will appear and new Ad will be created.
Login > “Create an Ad” > Post Ad > Ads Using mobile application, Pet owner first add
Ad title > Select services >Next > Enter Postcode or Use Current location>Next > Select Pet or Add Pet > Select Dates >Next > Info about pet > Mobile Number > POST AD!




*    ADS:


User can see the list of his Ads and other owner's live Ads by clicking on Ads module.

Ø  Here user can see his Live, Canceled, Paused and Ended Ads




·       Pet Owner also has option to “Pause” or “Cancel” each Ad individually!

·       Those Ads will automatically hide from Carers.


If user wants to see the Ads using Web created by him

Clicks on > Profile > Drop Down > “User’s Ads Listing”

If user wants to see the Ads created by him using Mobile application Login > Clicks on “Listings” Here user can also see number of quotes been provided by Carers uptil now.


For example, here Pet owner has created an Ad with name “My name is Nutshell” and posted it.



*    FIND A CARER

Clicking on this button, owner


Ø  Can see the list of all nearby Carers and can see their profiles.

Ø  Can contact them through link of social media profiles which Carers have provided in their profile

Ø  Owner can also see the reviews of carer given by other pet owners upon their pet services.

*    MESSAGES

When owner creates a new Ad, Pet carer can see all Live Ads by clicking on “Ads” module. Pet Carer will quote on any desired Ad. Pet Owner can add message subject, write message and “Send message” to pet carer using this button.

When a new message received, a green color mark will appear on user's account.



*    NOTIFICATIONS

On web and mobile app, both user’s pet owner and pet carer will receive notifications of each activity. For example when


o   Carer quoted on Owner’s Ad.

o   Owner accepts Carer’s offer.

o   Carer accepts Owner’s booking schedule

o   Carer declines Owner’s booking.

o   Carer checks in to provide service

o   Carer checks out after providing service

o   Carer uploaded a new picture

o   Carer uploaded a pet’s walk picture and many more..

Here is an example of Owner account receiving notifications in mobile device.



*    PROFILE

Pet Owner can see his Profile by clicking an icon with his name.




The profile of Pet Owner will show

·       Name

·       Surname

·       Email Address which he entered at the time of sign up

·       Profile Picture

Pet Owner cannot change email address but can change other fields.


Ø  Payment Details:

Here pet owner can enter the Card details.

·       Name on Card

·       Card Number

·       Expiration Date

·       CVV

·       All the payments will be paid to carer through the Owner card details as mentioned here!

·       Owner can use card scanner which can scan the following details of card


Ø  My Pets

Pet Owners can see the pictures and details of the pet they added

Owner’s Profile > Drop Down > “My Pets”


Ø  User Ads Listing

Pet Owners can see the list of Ads created by them by clicking here! Owner’s Profile > Drop Down > “User Ads Listing”


Ø  Bookings History

In the profile module, there's a sub module of Bookings history. Here owner can see ended bookings and all details related to those Ads.


*    BOOKINGS

Pet Owner can see the list of all active bookings here

When Carer quotes on any booking and Pet Owner accepts the offer. A notification will be sent to carer.

·       Pending Bookings: Pending booking are those which Carer has not accepted yet. There will be two options for carer, whether to Accept the booking or Decline the booking.

·       Accepted Bookings: Active bookings are the bookings which are being accepted by Carer Using mobile application, when owner “quick book” any offer, he/she first have to update the card details. Here is the bookings screen, as currently there are no bookings. Owner can also see listing and Payment details through this screen.




*    Gallery

This is the module where Pet owners can see their pet pictures with details such as

·       Pet name

·       Uploaded by

·       Service type

·       Uploaded time

·       Location

On web view, user can click on any image to enlarge it. This gallery is actually the pictures uploaded by Pet Carer after providing the services using Upload Pictures button from mobile device in carer's account. In mobile app, when user clicks on “More” they can see Gallery module


Login as Pet Carer > Quote on desired Ad > Accept Booking > Check in > Services e.g. Dog walk > “Upload pictures” > Check Out > Pet owner can see those pictures in Gallery!



*    Payment

Here Pet Owners can find information about all payments, pending, refunds and paid amount of your account. If there is any question regarding transactions, they can contact to support team of the system.


For example, Owner has paid to a Carer for an Ad “My name is Nutsell”, So payment screen looks like this on web!



*    Tracking/ View Tracked Walk

This module is basically for the pet walking services.
On Web, this module in Pet Owner account is to track daily walks of pets.
Owner can see the exact route, the distance and the duration of each walk while sitting anywhere.
On mobile, this feature is available as “Tracked Walks”



Carer Checks in > Start walk against any pet > Upload Picture> Checks Out > Pet owner will receive notification of completed walk > See the “Tracked walk” route, distance and time duration of that pet respectively.



3.0 SIGN UP AS PET CARER

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, a form of different fields will appear.

Ø  User can sign up by filling up required fields.

Ø  After submitting the form, a success message will appear.

Ø  Pet Carer can activate account from verification link received in email. But Admin Approval for new Pet Carers will be necessary always.

Ø  Pet Carer will have to update the profile.

Ø  After signing in, a message on the top will keep appearing until Admin approve that Carer

Ø  A form will also appear and user has to fill the form to proceed further.

Ø  Pet Carer has to provide

o   Name

o   Surname

o   Business Name

o   Address

o   Bio

o   Facebook profile URL

o   Twitter handle

o   Services he will provide

o   Work Experience

o   Family Pets

o   Personal Interests

o   Qualifications



*    BANK DETAILS

Once the admin approved, Pet Carer will receive an alert on his profile that “Please enter bank details to proceed”. A “Bank Details” button will appear.


·       Pet Carer will add bank details and save them so pet owners can send money to the bank details given by carer in profile. Now the Carer's profile is ready to use!


3.1 MAIN MODULES IN PET CARER

After signing in, the carer can access all modules of the system. Such as


*    ADS:

Pet Carer

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, Can see the list of all live Ads by clicking on “Ads” module

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, Can search for the nearby Ads through

o   Post Code

o   Distance

o   Breed

o   Pet Name

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, Can get notifications of nearby Ads

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, Using mobile apps, Carer can search the Ads from

Login > Listings > Enter Postcode >Fetch > Ads


*    PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

Carer will receive push notifications for nearby new jobs if he wants to by turning the button ON from “HOME” in Carer's App.



*    POST A QUOTE

Pet Carer can quote on live Ads by clicking on any Ad.

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, The Ad details will open, If the Ad is live and has not being booked yet. The carer can see ‟Post a Quote” button.

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, After clicking on that button, a pop up appears where carer will add price of service and description accordingly.

Using mobile application of Petbuds, if user wants to see the Quotes on the Ads created by him

Login > Clicks on “Listings” > Quotes



·       Here user can also see number of quotes been provided by Carers uptil now. Clicking on that Ad can open the quote of carer.

·       Here user can also see number of quotes been provided by Carers uptil now. Clicking on that Ad can open the quote of carer.

For example, a Carer has posted a quote against a pet Nutshell. Now Owner can see that quote and can “Quick book” or can “Send message” to that carer for conversation about that quote!



*    Bookings

When Carer quotes on any Ad, Pet owner receives notification and accepts the offer of that carer.

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, The carer will receive notification that pet owner has accepted ur quote against this Ad.

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, The carer will have option to

o   Confirm

o   Decline

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer, Once the carer accepts the offer, he/she will be booked for that Ad to provide the pet services respectively!

o   Pending Bookings: Pending booking are those which Carer has not accepted yet. There will be two options for carer, whether to Accept the booking or Decline the booking.

o   Accepted Bookings: Active bookings are the bookings which are being accepted by Carer



Ø  When user selects the option to “Sign Up” as Pet Carer,Pet carer can see all active bookings and details by clicking on “Bookings” module from menu bar

*    Service Records

Using web application of Petbuds, Service record is the module which shows the services provided by carer as record keeping purpose.

·       Once the carer mark that services have been provided by carer successfully.

Here is an example; carer has provided the services against an Ad “My name is Nutshell aka Nutty”. After check out, the service record shows that carer turns green while owner is still grey!

When the owner will mark it, it will change on Carer's side too. A notification will receive to carer that ‟Pet owner has marked your service against this Ad” And the Ad will move to “Service records” module showing date, time and other details of Ad.



*    Bookings History

In the profile module, there's a sub module of Bookings history. On this screen, Carer can see ended bookings and all details related to those Ads.



*    REVIEWS

When the Carer completed a job, owner can rate the service by giving stars and comments to that carer. Those rating will appear everywhere with Carer's profile name.

*    PAYMENTS

Here Pet Carers can see all their payments received from Pet Owners. In case if any carer wants to change bank details, Go to Profile > Bank Details button > Pop up will appear.



4.0 Tracked Walks

With tracked walks, Pet owners can keep track of their Pets with Petbud's fully tracked dog walks and a check in & out service for home visits with real time photos!

Ø  When user selects the option to "Sign Up” as Pet Carer,When pet carer quotes on any Ad to provide Dog Walking Services, the Owner will accept the offer after reviewing the profile and conversation.

Ø  The Carer confirms the booking.

Ø  That Carer is now booked to provide services against that Ad!

Ø  Now, Carer checks in according to the schedule which Owner provided.

Ø  Notification will be received to Owner that Carer checks in successfully.

Ø  The Carer will start walk with pet by clicking on “Start Walk” in mobile application.

Ø  Now, a map will open which shows the time duration of walk.



Ø  Carer can also upload pet pictures during walk from Camera icon.

Ø  The notification will be sent to Pet Owner that Carer has uploaded a walk picture.

Ø  There's an End button on screen to End the walk.

Ø  When the Carer will END the walk, A new screen will pop up asking carer to write additional comments about the walk.



Ø  When the walk ends, Carer can upload pictures of pet using camera or gallery.

Ø  Those pictures will be uploaded in Owner’s gallery for record.



Ø  When the walk is ended, carer will check out using “Check out” button on same screen using mobile app.

Ø  Pet owner will receive notification that walk has been completed against the Ad, respectively.

Ø  Owner can see the tracked walks on web by clicking on “Tracking” module and on Mobile App by

Clicking on > Bookings > Open the Ad > “Tracked Walk” > View Track> Track details will open!

Here is the track walk against a Dog “Nutty”. Nice is the comment which carer has commented after the walk with Nutty.



Ø  If Owner wants to see the walk pictures using Mobile App:

Clicks on > Bookings > Open the Ad > “Tracked Walk” > View Track> View Pictures > Pictures will open!



*    Multiple Walks

When any Carer has multiple pets to provide walking services and want to take them at once, he/she can Start Walk for multiple pets by clicking on “Start Walk” button using Carer's Mobile App.

Ø  The Screen will show list of active pet bookings for walking service for that Carer.

Ø  Carer will mark the pets and start walking service.



*    END JOB

Using Mobile application, when the Carer has provided services, and Pet owner received notification that service has been completed, Owner will go to

“Bookings” module > Clicks on Ad > Open Active Services > Service Record will open > Owner marks attendance and submit it!

There's a button of End Job at bottom of every Booking. When Owner clicks on End job, A screen will open which ask Owner to “Write a Review” for Carer and Tap a Star to Rate.

Owner adds a review and Send it, that booking will End and will not appear on live bookings screen instead it moves to “Booking History” module!



5.0 Other Services

When the services are other than walking services, such as

o   Cat Sitting

o   Grooming Services

o   Small Animal Carer

o   Pet Transport

o   Dog DayCare

·       For all of these services, whole scenario will be same but the Start Walk button will be “Disabled” for these services.

·       Carer will
Check in > Upload Pictures > Checkout after providing services.
